Energy and Environment

As a senior member of the Energy and Commerce Committee and the Ranking Member of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee, I am on the forefront of energy and environmental policy. The United States’ environmental and energy policy has a direct impact on everyone’s health and overall well being, and it is up to Congress to put forth legislation that protects the Earth and all its inhabitants. Securing a brighter future for both our nation and the world means respecting the Earth’s natural resources and landscapes, while responsibly managing the resources we have. In my role, I aim to shape legislation that promotes sustainability, environmental justice and ensures a better tomorrow.
