Caribbean Issues

As the daughter of Jamaican immigrants, being Caribbean-American allows me to create policy and legislation through a unique lens. The Caribbean is a region of resilient nations that have battled through humanitarian crises and disasters, as seen with the current state of Haiti. It is vital for the U.S to continue its collaboration with CARICOM and provide aid to the Caribbean to address the humanitarian crisis.
