As the proud child of Jamaican immigrants, I have witnessed firsthand the perseverance and dedication that immigrant families embody in their pursuit of better opportunities. Their relentless efforts are not only aimed at securing a brighter future for themselves but also at opening doors for their children and future generations to thrive.

I am honored to represent one of the most diverse cities in the entire country with constituents hailing from many nations. Since stepping into Congress in 2007, I have fought for the rights of immigrants and truly make this country a home for all. While the immigration process is difficult to navigate, our team of caseworkers will do everything we can to assist you and your loved ones, and find a solution if there is one available.
