WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke (D-NY) released the following statement regarding the Biden-Harris Administration’s newly announced National Strategy for Countering Antisemitism:
“As the representative of a vibrant Jewish community and a lifelong advocate for the ability of all Jewish peoples to safely thrive and excel in this nation, I applaud the Biden-Harris Administration’s new National Strategy for Countering Antisemitism. The disturbing rise of antisemitic sentiments in America and across the world demands we prioritize the protection of Jewish-Americans at every level – this critical announcement not only acknowledges the truth of growing antisemitic proliferation and the violent consequences it foments, but demonstrates the administration’s stalwart commitment to defeating hate and bigotry through a whole-of-society approach,” said Congresswoman Clarke.
“With more than 100 actionable recommendations within five meaningful pillars, the administration’s strategy is a comprehensive, considerate, and inclusive means of ensuring our beloved Jewish brothers and sisters know only the comfort and peace our nation promises them. I thank the Biden-Harris Administration for their willingness to give this issue the attention and concern it demands, and I look forward to working at their side to see it implemented.”
