Rep. Yvette D. Clarke’s Statement on the Arrest of a Brooklyn School Aide Producing Child Pornography
Today, U.S. Rep. Yvette D. Clarke, released the following statement regarding the arrest of a school aide at Weeksville Elementary School who has been charged with producing child pornography:
“I am shocked, disgusted and appalled to learn that a school aide was arrested for producing child pornography which, according to federal prosecutors, was produced in a classroom. I share the concern of all New Yorkers about the safety of our students. Anyone who violates the trust and safety of our children should be dealt with severely under the law. As the FBI continues with its investigation, I call on the community to assist them in any way that they can and unite around the single goal of creating a safe learning environment for our children. My office will continue to monitor the situation as it develops.
