Rep. Clarke Applauds Landmark Bill for Small Businesses

Today, Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke released the following statement after President Barack Obama signed the Small Business Jobs and Credit Act of 2010 into law:

“Today marks a great victory for Brooklyn small business owners as well as small business owners around the nation. I applaud the Obama administration along with the Democratic Leadership in Congress for putting our small businesses first during these hard economic times. Small businesses are essential to recovery. To date, President Obama has signed eight tax cuts into law aimed at helping small businesses. Know that as a Member of the House Small Business Committee, I will continue to fight for our small businesses and focus on creating solutions that will lead to economic growth. We must continue to strengthen our economy going into the 21st century.”
