Tens of thousands were expected for the memorial service for former South African president Nelson Mandela at Johannesburgs’ FNB stadium, which seats 95,000. Among the crowd were royalty, presidents and other dignitaries from around the world.

President Obama and his wife, Michelle, were there, flying in Air Force One along with former president George W. Bush, Laura Bush, and former secretary of state Hillary Clinton.
