Colin Powell for Jamaica 50

Former U.S. Secretary of State General Colin Powell will lead the US Presidential delegation to Kingston on August 6 to attend the celebration marking the 50th Independence Anniversary of Jamaica.

US President Barack Obama today announced the delegation.

The delegation will also include Pamela Bridgewater, U.S. Ambassador to Jamaica and New York Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke.
