Clarke Receives ‘A’ Grade on Middle-Class Report Card

“I am honored to receive this recognition,” state Rep. Clarke.  “I was elected by the people of central Brooklyn to represent the entire community and the middle-class is certainly an important part of it.  In the midst of an economic downturn the hard working families of the 11th Congressional District can rest assured that I hear their concerns and am hard at work on their behalf.”

The Drum Major Institute for Public Policy is a non-partisan, non-profit think tank generating the ideas that fuel the progressive movement.  The Drum Major Institute assigns letter grades to Members of Congress each year based on their votes for or against the middle class.
