Temporary Office Closures Out of Precaution of Coronavirus/COVID-19

Out of an abundance of caution, the Brooklyn and Washington, D.C. offices of Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke are shut down temporarily, with staff working remotely, to help stop the spread of Coronavirus/COVID-19. During business hours, constituents may reach the office by calling the Brooklyn office at 718-287-1142 or the D.C. office at 202-225-6231.

This temporary closure comes as a result of the direction from the CDC to implement social distancing practices to help curb the spread of Coronavirus. In addition, it’s suggested that diligent hygiene is practiced to minimize spreading germs, such as washing hands for 20+ seconds with soap and water or using 60%+ alcohol-based hand sanitizer for 20+ seconds, avoiding hand-shaking and staying home if you’re sick.
