Washington, DC –Today, Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke released the following statement on the passing of former Congressman John Adler: 

“I would like to express my condolences to John Adler’s family.  This is indeed a tremendous loss.  I considered John a very sincere colleague, a man with a great heart, wonderful sense of humor and a man with a real commitment to serve the 3rd Congressional district of New Jersey.  He is going to be sorely missed and I want to express my gratitude to the people of New Jersey who sent him to Congress.  Though he only served one term, he really made a great impact while he was here, not just on our colleagues but on the decorum of the Congress overall.”
