The American Planning Association (APA) unveiled their Great Places in America program which includes the 10 Great Streets and 10 Great Neighborhoods.
“I’m elated that central Brooklyn’s very own Park Slope has been recognized as one of the great neighborhoods across the country for its unique architectural design and diverse group of engaged residents, businesses and community organizations,” said Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke. “Kudos to the many residents, civic organizations and business organizations that continue to work together to maintain the character and the spirit of the community.”
Park Slope is in New York’s 11th Congressional District and is represented in the U.S. House of Representatives by Congresswoman Clarke.
